9 Mornings is a 2002 romantic movie released by Star Cinema directed by Jose Javier Reyes. It stars Piolo Pascual and Donita Rose. This movie earned one award and two nominations. Gene Ynfante (Piolo Pascual) can't seem to forgive himself for losing his beloved girlfriend in an unfaithful accident over a decade ago. Though it happened ten years ago, memories of that tragic event seem to continuously haunt him. This resulted to his loss of faith and belief in love and of God. He also became an obsessive-compulsive events organizer...making money and sex his priorities. Until he learned that he is about to inherit his late grandmother's,(Armida Siguion-Reyna) wealth on a condition that he completes the nine dawn-masses (simbang gabi), a religious practice he opposes.
